Kang is now a 2nd year Ph.D. candidate at the College of Information Sciences and Technology. He received his M.S. in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University and B.E. in Electrical Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology. He is also a recipient of the Robert W. Graham Endowed Graduate Fellowship. His research interests include complex network analysis, robust supply-chain networks, computational social and organizational models, and agent-based systems.
